Daryl Hall Golf Tournament

NEW Remote Tournament: October 7 – November 1, 2020

2020flyer

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 1st!

The DHMGT is going remote for 2020! In these trying times we want to consider those less fortunate than ourselves and help where we can. The goal of the Daryl Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance for higher education to our community of operators and their families in the memory of Daryl Hall. What better year to recognize and support these essential workers than during this pandemic?

We have set aside time in October to encourage this community to remember Daryl and to be thankful for what we have by giving back. There are multiple opportunities to give and we are offering a competition to encourage people to get outside and participate in a social distant activity – golf.

Those who form a team and register for a round of golf will be required to:

  1. Complete the round by November 1st at the course of their choosing (team is responsible for their green fees)
  2. Submit their scramble score and photo of the team to Brandt Miller by email (bmiller@hazenandsawyer.com)

The winners of the tournament will be announced during our virtual post-tournament ceremony along with a virtual message from the Hall Family and the Cadillac Wheel raffle.

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The Daryl Hall Memorial Golf Tournament is an opportunity to continue the legacy of Daryl Hall, a dear friend and member of the North Texas water and wastewater community, by giving back to our industry and helping others who seek higher education. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Daryl Hall Scholarship fund. This scholarship is available to all employees of North Texas utilities and their children for the specific purpose of providing technical training and financial assistance associated with continued education. See the Daryl Hall Scholarship and the WEAT-NTS Scholarship pages for more information.
