Preserving and enhancing the water environment of North Texas
The Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) is an open association of water environment professionals, practitioners, operations specialists, and public officials with a broad range of expertise working together to:
- Meet the needs of its members for professional growth and development
- Educate the public on water environment issues
- Benefit society through protection and enhancement of the water environment
The WEAT North Texas Section (WEAT-NTS), established in 1983, consists of over 500 members from the North Texas area. We support the Operations Challenge teams, the WEAT-NTS scholarship program, the Daryl Hall scholarship, the Dallas and Fort Worth Science Fairs, UTA events, and the Young Professionals group of WEAT-NTS.

The Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) is made up of about 4,800 Texas professionals including scientists, engineers, utility managers, operators and regulators who have dedicated their careers to educate, enhance, and advocate for Clean Water in Texas. At $70 per year, a WEAT membership provides ample benefit to you, your employer, and the environment as you gain access to networking and professional development events, service activities, and interaction with innovative technologies.
