The Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) is an open association of water environment professionals, practitioners, operations specialists, and public officials with a broad range of expertise working together to:

  • Meet the needs of its members for professional growth and development
  • Educate the public on water environment issues
  • Benefit society through protection and enhancement of the water environment

The WEAT North Texas Section (WEAT-NTS), established in 1983, consists of over 500 members from the North Texas area. We support the Operations Challenge teams, the WEAT-NTS scholarship program, the Daryl Hall scholarship, the Dallas and Fort Worth Science Fairs, UTA events, and the Young Professionals group of WEAT-NTS.
