Contractor Panel Discussion
The panel discussion will feature contractors with the topic focus on cost escalation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Some of the panel sub-topics will include:
-Drivers behind overall recent (post-pandemic) cost escalations as well as increased lead times for equipment
-What contractors go through during bidding and creating project schedules to deliver work on time – what are the “headaches”?
-Takeaways engineers and owners may be able to gain to better structure contracts and bid proposals to combat increased costs and long lead times, eliminate unknowns and risks, and more clearly define the work
-General risk allocation/mitigation strategies
