It is with a very heavy heart that we pass along the news of Walter Chiang’s passing away last Friday, 8/07/2020.
Walter Chiang radiated warmth and kindness. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Representatives with CP&Y and WEAT leaders have established the Walter Chiang Memorial Scholarship Endowment through the WEAT Scholarship Fund.

The threat to our industrial control systems networks is real, dangerous, and growing. The networks used to optimize and operate our water infrastructure are often taken for granted due to the challenges of day-to-day operations and limited resources. Monitoring them and reacting to threats is critical for protecting water utility assets and operations whether the threat is simply a configuration issue, failing devices, or even a targeted adversary. In this presentation, our panelists will discuss the value and types of exercises they are familiar with and then will participate in a live tabletop exercise and explore actual responses and best practices. |
